브래드피트, 드디어 만났네요. 반가워요. 우리가 털사에서 영화찍는 동안 어디 계셨었어요? 만나서 영광이에요. (ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

 

As you know I'm from Korea, and actually my name is 'Youn, yuh-jung'. Most of European people call me 'yuh-yuh', some of them call me 'you-jung'. But tonight, you are all forgiven.

아시다시피, 저는 한국 출신입니다. 그리고, 제 이름은 '윤여정' 이구요.

대부분 유럽 사람들이 저를 '여여'나 '유정'으로 부르시는데요, 오늘밤은 모두 용서해드릴께요.

 

I'm living in the other part of the world. I just watch the television Oscar, just watching television like a television program, for us. Me being here by my self. Yes, I can't not believe I'm here. Ok. let me put myself together.

저는 다른 세계의 한 파트에서 살고 있습니다. 전 오스카를 TV로만 시청했어요. TV로 다른 프로그램을 보듯이 말이죠. 그런데 제가 지금 여기에 서있네요.

제가 여기 서있다는 게 믿기지가 않네요. 자, 이제 제 마음을 진정시켜 봅시다.

멋진 '미나리' 식구들에게 진심으로 감사드립니다. 스티븐 연, 정이삭, 한예리, 노엘 그리고 앨런까지. 우리는 이제 가족이 되었어요,.

 

그리고 무엇보다, 그 어떤 것보다. 정이삭 감독님께 감사해요. 그가 없었다면 전 여기에 없을겁니다. (짝짝짝)

그는 나의 캡틴이었고, 나의 감독이었어요. 진심으로 감사를 올립니다.

 

And I like to thanks to… well, see.... I don't believing in competition. How can I win over Glenn close, I've been watching so many performance. so this is all the, all the nominees. five nominees we are the winner for the different movie, we play the different role. so we can't not compete each other.

The reason I am here tonight is because I am little bit luckier than you.

그리고 감사하지만, 나는 경쟁을 믿지 않아요. 내가 글렌 클로즈의 그 훌륭한 연기를 봤는데, 내가 어떻게 그 사람과 경쟁을 하겠어요? 다른 후보자들도 같아요. 그리고, 다른 5명의 후보들도 다른 영화에서 각자의 승자입니다. 우리는 다른 역할을 수행했어요,. 그래서 우리는 서로 경쟁할수가 없으요. 아마 내가 쫌 더 운이 좋아서인거 같아요.

Also because of American hospitality for Korean actor. I'm not sure, anyway thank you so much.

그리고 미국인들이 한국인 연기자에 환대해주시는 거 같아요. 확실치는 않지만, 감사합니다.

 

And...

I'd like to thank you to my two boys. Who make me go out and work. Be love sons, all they noise, this is the result of, because mommy's hard work.

그리고제 두 아들들에게 감사합니다. 저한테 일하러 나가라고 만드는 사람들이거든요.

그들의 잔소리 덕분에, 엄마가 열심히 일한 결과니까요.

 

And I'd like to dedicate this all for my first director 김기영. who was very genius director, I made movie together with him first movie. I think he would be very happy he still alive.

그리고, 제 첫번째 감독님인 김기영 감독님께도 감사드립니다. 그는 천재 감독이었고, 제 첫영화를 함께 제작할 수 있었죠. 아마도 그분이 살아계셨다는 정말 행복해 했을 겁니다.
